BMA offers scholarships worth $8,500 per year to current tertiary students and to students who are completing year 12 in 2008 and who gain entry into one of the following undergraduate degree courses, at any Queensland University, University of Wollongong and University of NSW.
Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Mineral Processing or Mining engineering or Environmental Science (or equivalent), Geology, Occupational Health & Safety or Spatial Science/Surveying.

So, if you know that you want a career in one of these areas then get your form in fast. In the case of Year 12 students, we do not expect that you will have all your necessary documentation at this stage. Your acceptance from QTAC for your preferred course, your exit certificate and final report will need to be sent in as you receive them to the address given at the end of the reference check form; but your year 11 and first semester of year 12 reports and any other documentation that you may have now (e.g. if you graduated in 2007) is required as you lodge your application.
